The fans packed outside the Los Angeles Superior Court in Southern California, broke out in jubilation after they learned that Dr. Conrad Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in Michael Jackson's death. Judge Michael Pastor had earlier urged people to constrain their emotions, but Michael Jackson’s fans were under no such constraints when they learned of the verdict.
Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009 of cardiac arrest caused by "acute propofol intoxication" in combination with two sedatives, the coroner ruled. Dr. Murray was however indicted for being criminally negligent in giving Jackson excess amounts of anesthetic Propofol
and no faces up to four years in prison and the loss of his medical license. Judge Michael Pastor ruled that he should be held without bail until his sentencing, set for Nov. 29.
