The theme for the 2015 Met Gala was "China: Through the Looking Glass". The celebs seem to make every attempt to make their outfits into a looking glass. They cut away as much as possible and held it together with either lace or sheer material. More like "Our Bodies: Through the Looking Glass"

For Spring 2015, designers turned to the military and safari clothing for inspiration. Using cargo pockets in their designs along with khaki and military green. You can easily incorporate that spring 2015 look into your wardrobe by adding a slim cargo pants to it to pair with an elegant top.
For a friends birthday dinner I chose to wear slim cargo pants with an elegant black top, black strap heels and a purse with metallic details to match the top.
